We preview everything to ensure we are the best option for selling your furnishings. We absolutely love furniture and have for a long time. But we discovered long ago that just because we love it doesn't mean it will sell well from our shop. So we carefully consider every potential consignment before accepting it.
Previews take one of three forms:
- Email your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll look them over and get back to you ASAP (generally the same day). Please include your contact information.
- Use our online Consignment Form to send us the information
- Call the shop and schedule an in-person preview appointment. This is especially helpful if you have a large number of items. One of our consignment specialists can meet with you in person.
Once approved, we will email a copy of our Consignment Agreement for you to sign. You can bring your items to the store, or we will put you in touch with one of our moving specialists so you can arrange a convenient time to have your items picked up and brought to the store. You will pay the moving costs directly to the moving company upon pick up.
FOR OUR BUYERS' PEACE OF MIND AND TO ENHANCE THE VALUE OF YOUR CONSIGNED ITEMS, WE STEAM CLEAN EVERY CONSIGNED ITEM (for a small charge).
When your item sells, we split the sales price with you and mail you a check with your share on the 15th of the month following the sale of your item, OR, you can use your consignment earnings to purchase items in our store. Consignors earn a 5% bonus on their consignment pay out when used toward purchase in the store (Sorry, no cash payouts tendered).
